Built in 1974 in Oregon, she has seen the West Coast from Alaska to
Chili and also out to Easter Island. Originally launched as a ketch, is
now a cutter rigged sloop waiting for me to put up a new mizzen mast.
Inside, seating is at bunk level. You must step up to sit down, although
it really opens up the main living area. The nav station is at the same
bunk/seating level. It has 4 doubles with a single above the aft port
bunk. Head is between the saloon and forward "office", which is a nice,
quiet, space detached from the rest of the boat. A nice place to get
away from everyone....
The stern cabin is a dedicated shop with vice and material storage in
the wing deck. It has an ironwood keel that spans 37 feet and is a
nominal 12 inches deep. |
