First the old border was removed, all holes sealed with Epoxy, painted three times then polished again.

I had moored it 5 days with rope on the mid-cleat.

The new border was divided and mounted in 3 parts;the strake was screwed to both hulls.

The screws were sunk and hidden with Teak-plugs. Sika sealer was used.
