'Stray Cat'
Deck layout looking forward
This is how she looks on the mooring.
Swim Ladder
Interior shot
This is the Stray cat as she look now. with the boomless main & roller blade jib
The mast is cut down to 33 feet & the sail reduced to match.
You can sort of see the jib sheets leading through blocks on the center cross bar.
Far right you can see one of the dagger board control line that I ran to the back of the cabin . Very convenient. On the edge of the center pod you can see one of the mast rotation lines I ran back for pulling the mast around in light air tacking.
The lazy jacks are home made & the perfect thing for a full batten main
The dagger board is out in this shot.
This is the best swim ladder I have come up with. It is 1 1/2" PVC pipe with a line run completely through & tied to the front bar.
It is held in boarding position by a line run to small cleats on each bow [so it will not swing under the boat when you climb]. As seen it is in an in between position. When sailing it flips up on to the tramp.
Taken while rebuilding. The port in the bow opens to the anchor locker & has a screw on plate to make it a crash bulkhead. I can open the port & the locker cover to get some air below.
