I was hoping to begin work again this Autumn
but alas that was not to be... Now I am hoping for a start in the
spring. The 60 mph winds we had 2 days ago blew my shed roof to
pieces (again) so my immediate task will be to replace it with wood
and corrugated iron before the snows come. I have finally got the
message that fabric will not hold up in New Mexico.
I have also sent you a picture of the masts I got from Australia on
the roof of a friends van. They were only 10m long, so stuck out a
few feet on either end. Still, it is the wild west and we hardly
raised a glance as we drove them home from the freight company. They
might amuse somebody.
They are just what I needed, I don't think I would have ever got to
building wooden one's! ~Alex |
