Hi Scott......... recently took some
new pics of Dave Mellor's "Tanenui 45" which is
progressing quite nicely at a steady pace right next to us - at
least it is now that we've moved out of the marina at last, a move
dictated by the medical bills! As you can see, it now looks a whole
lot better than it did after motoring here from it's build site on
the Indonesian island of Sumbawa. Coming along quite nicely,
cabin windows are in progress and the canopy for the deck awning is
ordered and due delivery "soon"...Indonesian 'jam carrett', or
"rubber time"!!
There's also a couple of pics of a Tiki 46, which arrived here from
Jakarta a couple of months back, which looks very nice and is kitted
out as a dive boat, judging by the built-in tank racks in their
boxes on deck. Haven't yet met the owners, who are away in Europe I
believe, but looking forward to that when they return. There's also
a couple of personal pics taken aboard my boat, making full use of
one of my $40 Teak deck chairs! You'll also note the new hairstyle,
the result of a combination of chemo-therapy and anno-domini!!
(Chemo was replaced by pills a month ago and it HAS started to grow
back again, as promised!). All going well here and the battle IS
being won - thank the Lord! |
