I am proud of these lockers in the seat, the hinges are bungy cord and are fine to sit on and work well. The rear lockers open so that they can be accessed from in the hulls, which is useful for turning on and off the gas bottle and getting stuff from inside.  I use the forward lockers for ropes and fishing tackle, the rear ones have gas and fuel on one side,  and battery on the others side.  All have drains so gas or fuel leaks go overboard.
